Cross Selling Tactic for the Internet Marketer

Posted at 28 of February 2007 by admin. Comments »

What is ?

There is really no clearcut definition on cross selling, but it is one effective technique when it comes to . It is the process by which you identify the customers who are interested in a certain set of products and then you go and branch out by means of selling similar material. This is the trend when it comes to Internet, be it in surfing for information or for buying products. You try to find one area, and then you end up purchasing and getting something else completely different. Cross selling is the tactic which harnesses that natural inclination of Internet users to deviate from their original object. In a way, you may consider that distraction, but if it is closely related to what they were seeking, then that is not too bad.

Triple S: Sharply Segmented Sublist

Posted at 26 of February 2007 by admin. Comments »

If you have managed to build a huge list and finally elicited the much-needed site traffic in your internet marketing business, that’s great. But beyond that, you must do something with that big list of yours to make it more efficient. This is what I call the sharply segmented sublist. This method has made many a successful internet marketer rise from mediocre selling to high class and high end earning online- without having to work up a sweat to do it.

What is Sublisting?

Simply put, is getting a handful or a segment of your large list from your target market. It is one of the best techniques internet moguls use to be able to sift out quality from mere quantity. Of course, you cannot expect all of those who are subscribed in your list to bring you the consistency and big bucks that you are trying to acquire, but when you sublist, you separate those who you view to have the highest potential in doing so. That does not mean that you are to abandon the rest of the people in your list though. You keep sending them the usuals, but you give special care and attention to your sublist.

Sharp Sublist Brings You Bucks

Being sharp in your sublisting entails that you must have a keen eye and you must know your clients well. You may ask for help in doing this by consulting with other fellow internet marketers or whoever your mentor is in this business. If you do not have a mentor, I strongly suggest you to get one so that you will not be misguided in this business which can get tricky and confusing sometimes. Your sharp sublist will also enable you to nail more and better compensating gigs for so much less effort.

Segmented Sublist Provides You Ease in Maintaining Your Sublist

The wonderful thing with the triple S system is that it is fairly easy to maintain. Compare training and following up on a sea of people who may or may not deliver what you expect from your labors as opposed to selecting those who are surely to render quality and give you less headaches.

Testing is much easier on your best than your general list.

This is another sure advantage when you employ the triple S method in your business. If you are to test something, it is so much easier if you test it in your best clients first and check for results instead of mass-testing or launching it to your general list. Your general list may or may not provide you with viable feedbacks, but your very best clients won’t provide you with something you cannot use.

Make use of the triple S or sharply segmented sublisting method in your list. And do them as often as you can manage, as many as you possibly can. You can create different categories for your general list, and maximize your profits. If you are well able to develop your business in light of your sharply segmented sublists, you will find yourself getting better, earning more while working less. You might not believe it now, but it is actually possible.

Three Secrets to Successful Selling

Posted at 22 of February 2007 by admin. Comments »

You don’t really need to go through complicated processes just to sell successfully. Neither would you need to earn a degree in some prestigious university or go through some nerve-wracking thinking just to grasp the idea. Further simplified, selling successfully is comprised of three basic steps. And you will actually realize that you won’t even need something that you don’t already have if you intend to do this. You can easily apply this even as you are reading this material.

Step One: TTP or Talk to People

Talk to people. That’s the first step. This is where you bring your products. They will be the ones to judge and purchase your products, or possibly bring constructive criticism to it. Of course, we can’t dispel positive criticism but we are also more inclined to seek income and people who will actually dig our products and buy them. And no matter how promising your product is or how good your website looks, you still won’t get a sale unless you do some talking. Talking does not have to be face to face. Given our technology, there are just various ways to reach to people from across the globe. Talking to people has never been easier. So go ahead and do it.

Step Two: TTMP or Talk to More People

That’s right. You may have imagined yourself chilling out and sipping pina coladas in the beach after you have done major talking to people as you build your network. Au contraire (on the contrary), you must talk to more people even when you have a base network built up. You will continually need to link up and meet more people. After all, this is what your business. If in step one, your goal is to build a network from which you are to sell, your main goal in step two is to expand and replenish that built network you acquired from step two. You never stop growing and improving. You will never get anywhere if you isolate yourself.

Step Three: TTEMP or Talk to Even More People

In step one, you talked to people to build your network and establish yourself. In step two, you talked to more people because you need to expand and replenish the network that you have built in step one. But in step three, now that you already have an expanded network and you have been able to establish yourself, talking to even more people is done to further augment your business- make it a legend if possible, or at least, lead you to higher and higher levels of Internet marketing.

These three steps can actually be rolled in a single step that you can do continually: talk to people. Communicate, interact, sell and be very enthusiastic while you do it. Also, remember that it is lifelong process. For are long as you are in the selling business, you will be required to talk to people. And it gets easier over time. This is something that comes as a free bonus or benefit.

Write it Right: How Writing Affects Your Internet Marketing Business

Posted at 16 of February 2007 by admin. Comments »

Sure, you can delegate most of the legwork to experienced writers. But at one point or another, especially when you are just starting out in your , you will need to do a lot of writing.

Writing Your Goals

This is one of the basic and most important things that you have to write in your internet marketing business. You cannot make a road map if you do not have a destination in mind. Being specific about your goals and writing them down gives it three times the likelihood of succeeding as compared to merely taking mental note of it.

Writing Your Business Plan

Once you have your goals and your target market, you must have your own business plan. This business plan is based on a business model which you have determined to be right for. There are various business models available for , but if you really want to be efficient, it will do you a lot of good if you devote your time to them one at a time.

Writing for Your Prospects

Your will expect writeups, blurbs and product releases from you. This must be very effective if you really want your prospects to stop being just prospects and become buyers and eventual loyalists of your products. You do not really have to be brilliant to be able to write for them. You just have to be clear, sincere and persuasive enough with what you are doing.

Writing to Establish Your Online Presence

If you are able to establish a good online presence, you will have more people subscribing under you and trusting you to deliver what you have promised. Even if the product is promising but the product seller is not that credible or believable, it will be useless.

Writing to Affiliates and Possible Joint Venture Partners

Your and possible joint venture partners may also occasionally require you to maintain correspondence with them. Since few of them are those you will ever see in person, your use of words when interacting with them will do paint a picture of you to them to substitute for the lack of face to face interaction. Now, you wouldn’t want an ill-painted picture, right? Writing for your affiliates and possible joint venture partners must not only be profit-oriented, but satisfying their main question: “What’s in it for me?”.
